Children love Play 2 Learn because they explore, get messy and have fun whilst learning in a supportive and loving environment.

Personal development

The great thing about nursery is that the possibilities for learning are endless.

Your child's experiences through free play, physical activity and guided learning combine to shape their development as a whole person and can have a positive lifelong impact.

Early Years Foundation Stage

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) forms the bedrock of our curriculum and sets the standard for the learning, development and care of your child. It promotes teaching and learning to ensure school readiness, and gives children the knowledge and skills to provide the right foundation for life.

The EYFS identifies 7 areas of learning and development:

  • Communication and language

  • Physical development

  • Personal, social and emotional development

  • Literacy

  • Maths

  • Understanding the world

  • Expressive arts and design

We monitor your child's progress through observations and by developing a trusting relationship with you. We use these insights to meet their needs and enhance their learning.

Our enhanced curriculum

We have built upon the Early Years curriculum with our unique programme consisting of extra-curricular clubs, activities and special events that enrich your child’s learning and development. These different experiences will enable your child to develop a sense of self, making them a well-rounded individual who is ready to step into the wider world.
